Tobacco and Alcohol Market Regulatory Authority, the Presidency:

NARGİLE to be placed on the BOTTLE OF HEALTH WARNING PRINCIPLES AND PROCEDURES FOR ABOUT COMMUNICATION

ARTICLE 1 – (1) This Decree 7/11/1996 No. 4207 Tobacco Products Prevention of Loss and Control of Law and 6/1/2005 No. 25692 dated Official Gazette published the Tobacco Products Production Method for the Protection of the damage, Labeling and Related Inspection based on the provisions of the Regulation on procedures and Principles, except the base is prepared to regulate the procedures and principles for health warnings to be placed on top of the hookah bottle.

ARTICLE 2 – (1) This Communiqué covers health warnings to be applied on the base except hookah bottle.

ARTICLE 3 – (1) The presence of health warnings on bottles included in the hookah with the principles and procedures set this Notification is mandatory.

ARTICLE4 – (1) According to the hookah shisha bottle to apply health warnings on bottles of cylindrical form (Appendix 1) or conical (Appendix-2) may be in form. Warnings, bottles applied to start from the mouth section. (2) Health warnings; offset printing on cardboard, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Screen printing on PVC pipe layers or applied as pad printing or paste. Warnings are printed in fixed and indelible character. (3) The minimum requirements for the printing of health warnings "four color / Blue-Red-Yellow-Black (CMYK)" is. (4) Warning measures, together with a share of 5 cm cut, cylindrical-shaped warning at the minimum gross 365 x 250 mm, the minimum gross cone-shaped warning takes the form of 360 x 217 mm. (5) Hookahs to put health warnings on bottles and their cutting measures will be announced on the website of the Authority and the Authority is provided by the electronic media. These warnings, they contain textual and / or format of the visual elements, proportions, colors and graphical integrity can not be changed. (6) Each of the health warning is applied alternately on hookah bottles. ARTICLE 5 – (1) Law No. 4207 on those who violate the provisions of this Communiqué, 01/03/2002 dated and numbered 4733 Tobacco and Alcohol Market Regulatory Authority Organization and Duties of Law and dated 29/6/2001 and 4703 products to the preparation of the Technical Regulations and the provisions of the Law on the Implementation the scope of the necessary administrative sanctions are applied.

ARTICLE 6 – (1)Hookah bottles made available until later this Communiqué 27.07.2013.

ARTICLE 7 – (1) Agency made other arrangements in the absence of provisions in this field apply the general provisions of the Communiqué place.

ARTICLE 8 – (1) This Communiqué enters into force on the date of publication.

ARTICLE 9 – (1) This law shall be enforced by the Chairman of the Tobacco and Alcohol Market Regulatory Authority.
